Transaction

The buying and selling of a currency pair.

Transaction Cost

The cost associated with buying or selling a currency pair.

Transaction Date

The date on which a position is opened or closed.

Treasury Bills

U.S. Treasury short term bonds with 13, 26 and 52 weeks maturities.

Treasury Bonds

Long term U.S. obligations with more than 15 years maturity.

Treasury Notes

Medium term U.S. obligations with 2 to 10 year maturities.

Trend

The way the price moves at the current time: upwards, downwards or sideways.

Trend Following

A trader that trades almost exclusively on news and current market sentiment.

Trend Lines

Graphical depiction of current trends such as lines or charts. Trend lines often show such things as highs and lows and other important indicators.

Turnover

The total amount of currency that changes hands during a time period.

Two-Tier Market

An exchange rate system where only one exchange rate is affected by the forex market. An example is the pre-1995 South African Rand.

Two-Way Price

When both Bid and Ask prices are shown, the same as Quote.

Two-Way Quotation

When both Bid and Ask prices are shown, the same as Quote.
