Set files as you put it are actually called preset files. These files represent a way to save the settings of one's EA for future use. It's a way to shortcut not having to configure the EA each time you place your robot on a currency pair.

You will find presets in your MetaTrader 4 platform. I will attach a couple of help images to shed some light on how to use them and whether located.

When you double-click on your and your program pops up you have a choice to click on save or load. Save once you are done with your configuration, load to bring up your preset file to use when applying your EA to a new currency.
