I always read that one should go with ECN brokers to avoid this S/L hunting. Many times in the past when I had S/L as far away as 30 to 50 PIPs away, they would get hit, and then immediately turn around. When I say get hit, not a PIP over it, just trigger it, and then continue its merry way to the intended direction of the trade. Not a fun way to trade when its a standard lot size..... I just then stopped using S/L from thereonin when at the screen. The worse part is that if I had a S/L, the screen would froze when I want to rid of the S/L because I see price inching up to it, and then wham, triggered the S/L exactly, not a PIP over. Something smells fishy....
