Does that occour all the time or just occasionally? I notice an exception for GetHistoricalRates, in which it returns nothing if the connection to server is broken unexpectedly. Fortunately, you can exploit that exception to create a connection checking method. For example, if GetHistoricalRates() = nothing then UnknownDisconnection().
