I think enforcing minimum posts count isn't bad but isn't good either. Like Rav suggested, those guys will just post junk messages to raise up the counter. Anyway, here's another problem. Should we allow members to put referral links in their signature or not? To many people, it's a motive to post as I've noticed at many other forums.
If this site generates splitable profit from Adsense and other advertisements, I'll share it with all of us (admins, mods and charities only sorry). But currently the profit is just to sustain the server rent. However the profit is not bad, aprox. $6.15 for 1,000 page hits, based on two months records. Look at those big sites with 1 to 10 millions page hits a day. That would be $6,000 to $60,000 a day! Not to mention alternative ads revenue.

Am I talking too far?
