Hello,

I had been recently testing the new NO DEALING DESK option with FXCM (Forex Capital Markets) as they advertised rapid execution even during news releases ie. macroeconomic reports. I wanted to test it on Non-Farm-Payrolls (November the 3rd, 2006) and found following:

1. FXCM filled me on my resting order even before the price in the streaming prices window displayed the price (rate) I wanted to have.

2. The stop/loss was not executed I had to manually exit the trade.

3. FXCM filled me on the highest ask priced noted on this day. (17 pips slippage)

4. FXCM executed the trade whole minute and displayed it after the market went down ca. 100 pips. I was unable to change the parameters of the order during that time.

Thanks for that. There are other non dealing desk brokers out there if people are interested in that option. FXCM has been getting bad reviews lately from many sources. I've reviewed one on my website and plan to add more non-dealing desk brokers.

non could be as bad as cms, they trade against you to their benefit, i had a live account there but discovered the price manipulation so i closed it, never to return.

Dude FXCM has been getting bad reveiws for over 5 years
They are purely a market maker for themselves, they have been sued and fined up the yin yang for over 5 years, how anyone would even think of using them is beyond me.

I look at several forums on a daily basis to help me with my trading and simply had to register here today to let you all know that this posting has appeared on several forums. The guy never comes back to answer any other postings and probably is a competitor of FXCM's. I have traded with them for 5 years and I am trading on their No Dealing platform. I have had an excellent experience with them. Asyou trade directly with the banks there is no way for them to trade against you - your order goes to the banks. That is what they tell you on the phone and as they are definitely audited every year by the NFA, I am sure this is true otherwise they would have been shut down years ago. They make money when I trade. That means, the better you trade, the more you will trade and the more money they will make. I have been very successful with them so do not believe everyone's sob story. Most traders fail, and those that do simply do not want to admit to themselves (and the world) that they don;t have what it takes to trade well. It's always much easier to blame others. I recommend trying them. They are clearly the largest broker out there, and there is a reason for that. And, they are the only firm that posted their financials online of their own doing. Way better than the FXDD and FXSols of the world who are barely regulated and often fall below net excess capital requirements...

i dont mean to intrude, but what are the usual spreads, im wondering if im better off with,no dealing desk, or dealing desk.

has anyone had a problem with price manilipulation, this is my main concern.

I don't know about no dealing desk. I mean, what bank accepts piddling little $10,000 lots directly? Small trades have to have a dealing desk involved somewhere along the line.

I too have had great experience with FXCM and it is quite evident to me that FX Analytics is some kind of a Troll and really nothing more. Or is some really an uninformed and totally uneducated amateur FX babbler. FXCM is probably the best out there. Superior to FXDD and InterbankFX. Why InterbankFX gets such high praise from certain traders is really the puzzling thing for me. Is that because you see their CEO on CNBC everyday?
