Expert Advisor vs Expert Adviser

I notice many spelling checkers including MS Word's and Firefox's put a red-wavy underline whenever I type "advisor". That's ridiculous since "advisor" is alternative spelling for "adviser", and now "advisor" is even much more popular.

Google search returns 216,000 results for "metatrader expert advisor" but only 17,600 for "metatrader expert adviser", so next time you search, use "expert advisor" to unlock the hidden treasures.

By the way, which one do you prefer?

advisor sounds better to me, adviser sounds like a job. I would add it to your dictionary in MS Word

I don`t have access to Metatrader right know, but here is a thought. Maybe it is correct to write adviser, but since Metaquotes crew is russian, maybe they just misspeled the thing, and it became common. Since everyone is seeing the word advisor on the platform. But I don`t have an access to the platform right now, so I can`t check how it is spelled there.
