FXCM's New Platform

Hi!

I've just checked the new fxcm trade station today, so I'd like to give it a brief review.

Pros
It looks a bit cooler than the old version. There're a few significant changes such as skinnable user interface, more responsive interface, tabbed browsing, faster communication, and much better charting and news plugins.

The chart is somehow cool! as I can apply indicators to either candle data or to other indicators data; applying 2 EMAs to a RSI is now possible.

Wide range of news related to underlying currencies, central banks, economic data is available at the same time, how kewl.

Cons
The program crashes once already in my first 20 minutes use, how shameful. It happened seconds after I press Print Screen (see screenshot). It might be connection problem, I guess. Unable to reconnect until now.

The charting is slow and number of candles is limited. The color of candle cannot be changed, and the chart formation cannot be saved for future use.

No scripting engine for strategy automation and custom indicators.

Hmm I like the news calendar it has. I wouldnt mind those cons, minus the crashing. What exactly is this? FXCM? is it a broker that has its own platform? Is the coding the same thing as MT?

I'm not sure if im really interested in these answers but it wouldnt hurt to know for future references

Yes, it's FXCM or Refco Group, the biggest brother among forex brokers.
