Default Finished building my computer
Well, this is mostly for passing the time, I decided to build a computer since I am a kid at heart. I know there is not only work in the world so this helped me relax.

Here are the specs:
-AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Processor
-ATI Radeon 9800 pro 256MB video card
-MSI K8MM Motherboard
-160GB Hard Drive
-(2x512MB)1Gig RAM
-5.1 Creative Surround Sound
-17" LCD Screen
-Wireless keyboard and 600DPI Mouse
-Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 (had it before)

and thats about it, fun times, its incredible the difference from my 2 year old computer and this one how technology evolves...

Without the flash (neon visible)

Desktop

P.S. This is now in my son's room, he is taking advantage of it, but he's nice enough to share it with me since he's only 10

How absolutely faboulus! You have built a monster! Unbelievable!

Mine is Abit IC7 Motherboard, 2.4Ghz HT P4, 512MB DDR RAM, 120GB HDD, 64MB GeForceMX (sucks ), Onboard 6.1 Sound, and Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. I just built it last year, and it broke down once last month. Too bad!

Gazuz, so how about the motherboard of yours?

completely forgot to mention that...

MSI K8MM motherboard.

Now this one was completely chosen through the price, I took the lowest priced mother board and added with the highest price and divided my two. I shouldve just made a pvito point :-P

Nice system. I work primarly from a laptop that I take everywhere. I do have two older Desktops that I play with linux on.

Looks very serious and frightening. I dont know why, but I remembered old computers which were placed mainly in differetn institutes, and took about a room of space.

There were very big and very slow... ) My first computer was 133Mhz CPU, 32MB Ram, 1GB HDD. It was kinda amazing that I could play a 300MB 3D game!

Hm, my first computer was 486, and i dont remember the other configurations, but i was very proud of it. And i dont remember playing 300 mb 3d games, all i remember was playing a game called bubble trouble. =))
