Are you guy still with forex?

Hello there!

It's been a long time since I started this forum. At that time, many of you were very enthusiastic in forex. Some of you had very much interest in finding profitable strategies while some created and tested own systems. But now, everyone seems very quiet on 'forex/profitable system' topic. I wonder whether you guys are still with forex or not, and what is your opinion about it?

Forex is very boring business, I think. It's all about up/down, slow/fast, early/late, win/loss, and dare/fear. The most boring part is that I failed no matter how hard I tried to profit from it. I remember, I spent a whole month studying various price charts with a ton of indicators. Ok, thanks to the boredom, I created a few profitable systems and FX Fisherman to do the job. It is the most hardworking job I have ever done in my whole life. Ironically, a few mad traders at Moneytec blamed me for no reason at all (Ok, they are on my blacklist now ).

All in all, I'd like hear some words from you guys about your forex life, would you mind telling a bit?

My forex life? Since i don`t have much time to sit at the monitor and trade all day, i was hoping to come up with some kind of a system, find a programmer that would automate it. So i have spent a lot of time looking for profitable indicators, indicator combinations and so on. But then i realised that indicators are useless. Now i am looking more into murraymath , gann charts, and stuff like this. I find forex very interesting. It looks very easy - up or down, but looking and exploring ( and trying to predict ) these up downs is veryy interesting to me. I haven`t traded for real. I don`t like illusions, so i will start trading when i will be 98% sure in the system i am going to trade ( hope the first one will be fxfisherman ;-) )

Well I'm not pro like two of you guys . Honestly, my dream is become a pro racing/rally driver. Currently I'm working in Honda service center as a spare part department assistance, my salary now is US210.5 per month :sweatdrop , and I'm trying to join the Honda Malaysia Racing Team, but they can't let me in b'cause I don't have any racing experience. Ofcourse, to get racing experience simply just join any of the car racing event, problem is I don't have a car It is hard to owned a car now. So I try to find a way to make more money to make my dream come true... I already change my job five times just b'cause of my dream, my traget . One day I surf the net, I find a forum call moneytec, then I know the forex market. Just like scorpion, I have try most of the indicator and expert adviser, and the result is profit are not stable. So I trying to serach is there any people have a system that make profit stable, that is why I have found the fxfisherman

I like your story very much, Cartoon. A friend of mine in Singapore has the same dream as yours. Right now, he can afford to race in playstation games only, but at least he has somewhat satisfied himself (being able to listen to the racing car sound roaring). Hey, you don't have car, how do you get around the city? I suppose you have motorbike right?

Ok, do you guys wanna know the real way to make money in Forex or any kind of trading? I'll tell ya the secret:

*Astrology* .

I too have messed with traditional indicators... mainly used combo's of MACD (which I still like sometimes), RSI, Slow Stochastics, occasionally bollinger bands, etc.

Those things can work at times... however.. the big problem with them and chart watching in general, as you guys may have noticed, is this:

Those indicators LAG.. eheh... and/or the situation always eventually reduces to this:

the market will go flat for a good while.... and consolidate.. and then JUMP LIKE CRAZY... but you typically must be in the market ahead to catch the move... so how do you do this????

You have to know WHEN to be in and direction of course... timing is the whole thing:

testing my strategy and gonna work on a strategy that uses pivot points to see how i do with that. Then if i get bored ill start a money pool online which was a little ideaf mine. Basically it works like the stock trading system
u buy shares on the website (start at $1.00) then the bid ask is 10 cents over and under, so if u want to buy a share at the beginning itll cost u $1.10
, to sell itll pay you $0.90. Then with all the money thats in there ill invest however i can (probably betonmarkets ill find a solid strategy that can win more than lose ) and then the share price rises, people that think its enough can sell and the other people see the success and buy. One of the securities/safety nets is those 10 cents per transaction can save if i mess up in a trade so the price wont fall too hard.

ill be developing that idea if i find something good w/ bet on markets

so then you might ask, ok smarty-pants, why are you now not a billionaire then, huh?

well, it can be shown that astrology works, along with other numerical analysis techniques along the lines of Gann square of nine, probably Murrey Math, etc... the problem being that boy it takes alot of *work* to apply this stuff... So it becomes a question of time required to research and implement it... hence I am here at fxfisherman

Oh, as far as actual trading... yes I have done that... stock options -- bull and bear spread strategies, forex -- mainly traditional tech analysis... other stuff still researching . The thing is it does appear to me that no money making opportunity on earth is as cool as forex, if one can make it work .

I used to double my money up to 50 times (compare to the $20 initial deposit) in a week at BetOnMarkets. Forex was really awesome to me at that time, as it was my first experience. I thought to myself what if I made $2000 deposit, then I would have got $100,000 already. One funny thing about the winnings is that I didn't even look at any indicator or followed any system at all, since I was a complete newbie.

Well , since it it just about up/down, then people with good intuition can make good money at it. And i would like to tell something about astrology. I used to play around with this concept of trading ( there is an astrologist traders club in russia, and they have their one software, i have seen it work, and it shows great results in trading, not for sell though ). I made a chart with all the planet diversions for year 2003, and put the price movements on that days on this chart. There was some system visible, but i did not finish my research. My hdd broke down, and since then i don`t have enough time to continiue it.
