Hello everybody is it uncommon to earn 17,000 in 1st week?

Hi Guys,

I have been through baby pips and opened different demo's etc. I have been trading my metatrader demo for 2 weeks and not lost a trade... earned $17,000 off a $10,000 deposit, using mouteki and other great tools. I just think that this seems to easy..... what's up with that? am i in for a wake up call, taking too much risk? what do you think?

I think it's not uncommon. You're earning 170% first week, right? I earned 1200% first two weeks and lost all the next week. I was gambling with 100% balance used at any single time.

It boils down to this: long-term profitability. I'm happy having 20% net profit every year for 15 years. I will be a millioniare by then using compound.

Anyway, could you tell us how did you that?

I was told about mouteki from another trader, found on a forum somewhere. having tested it they said it seemed to be a great breakthru for them. I looked for the signs of one forming and not realising that i had set the trade at 4 lots instead of 1 was blown away by the $6720 profit from a 168 pip wave, off $10000 deposit. mouteki's happen about once a week, maybe twice if youre lucky. usually after a mouteki there is a correction which you can also ride back 1/4 or 1/5 the way which is a nice 20 - 40 pips. not every one trusts those corrections though. since then i have learnt that i was risking it huge and have tamed it down a bit. here is results of last 2 days....actually last night i rode a mouteki and if i can get the picture up i'll show you.

Hm.. well I wouldn't usually base all my trades on one to two trades per week because it makes your account fluctuate like crazy, especially when compounding because it goes down faster then it went up (one trade loss could be the worth of the last 4 or so)..

I really think that every expert and system has a good chance because of money managment. This shows a rather poor money managment (for that 4 lots at least) because with a $5,000 account my 1 lot is already good enough to trade with, sometimes even too high.

Anywho I didnt see a stop loss or take profit in some of your trades that you had a screenshot of. I have never heard of the strategy before so I will not criticize too much but I think few trades with such high expectations is a bad idea IMO.

Let's see how this one will go, sometimes this might be just as good as flipping a coin
