This manual and EA method does not work that way. We don't look for confirmation signals like most of the traders around the world.

We are counter trend traders that look for precision entries and always go with the main trend.

I dont know if you get me right or not...I`ll obey all the rules of countertrend, but I`ll make my entry from the very low TF which is 5 MN, so I can catch the change of color which is similar to that of hig TFs from the start.
Am i right?

I see. You can do that but you are mixing apples with oranges and placing the glove on the patient when using your two fingers. LOL

If you see a counter trend on a daily TF and get in on the 4Hr as you should this would be considered a proper entry.

If you want an other filter to time the 4Hr with a 5M that would be fine. Just keep in mind what you are doing which is getting in on the 4HR.

As it stands at the moment I am just over $256 in profit. I think I am right in saying that trading with a mini lot size (0.10) that is equal to $1/pip, and therefore, 256 pips for the four days since I started using the EA. Excellent if this is correct.

It is close since but not excat. Most curencies at not exactly a $ per pip unless the pair starts with USD.

But yes you are very close. Great job!

Don or anyone else who can answere the following question. I am already in some trades (demo) but have increased the mini lot size from 0.10 to 0.90, is this the correct way to do it or do I first have to close the EA down and then alter the lot size?

Do not change lot sizes in the middle of a trade. Wait for it to close first.

Hi nasree, below is Don's commentry on how to do it.

Please attach the EA that I sent you to the Metatrader platform. Go to your folders for Metatrader and look for Experts folder. Drop it in there. Then you will now open up your platform and go to "view/navigator" and open up "expert advisor" folder and there should be the "Steinitz_HAS_MTF_EA_v2.31.ex4" (EA) I sent you with a grey hat. Drop and drag that file on to your platform.

Open up the common tab and add a check mark to "allow live trading" if not already checked. Hit ok. Now you should see the file name of the EA on the upper right hand side of your platform. If the smiley face is frowning you need to click on the "expert advisor" on the upper platform. The arrow should turn green. Now it is activated.

If you don't have the custom indicator loaded on your Metatrader platform you will need to do so as the EA works off the "Heiken_Ashi_Smoothed" or "HAS" indicator. You can choose to drop and drag this indicator onto your platform if you wish (I advise to). However, the EA will work as long as the HAS is physically in the custom indicator folder.
