Dear Sir

Our experience trading the program during major news releases like NFP has really not affected our results significantly. Having said that we have looked at around 20 news releases if you think that significant enough.

Thanks for your question.

Thumbs up September results

Hello:

I'm enclosing a copy of my September statement September 7th through today. I'm using my personal preset file which is called 1.set. If you have any questions regarding specific functions please feel free to contact me seven days a week by e-mail.

As you know Pipskeeter has started a large testing group and I urge you to get involved if you wish to participate. You can either contact him directly or myself for his e-mail address.

Personally on my preset file I'm trading 2% per pair with 12 pairs concurrently. I am testing this to see if my program can handle a 24% total risk. I recommend for live trading a 10% total risk that we have adopted from our learning experience from the recent market correction.

Total trades 104
Winning trades 103
Losing trades 1
Max drawdown 1.51%
Expected payoff $135.41
Profit factor 37.02
Gross profit $14,473.17
ROI 57.89%
19 days

Have a great weekend!

Don

How do I make that a read-only? And does everybody have to download MIG?

Exclamation Stop losses revisted

As promised I am going forward with posting one of my customers trading statements ifor September where he used a 75 pip stop loss. Keep in mind when looking at the statement that you will see a stop loss of 75 pips times a factor of 1.5 = 112 pip SL that is sent to the broker as a safety precaution.

The internal stop loss of 75 it hit will result in a 75 pip trade loss. If there was ever a power shortage the robot could close the trade at 112 pips loss which is called our safety stop loss feature.

What becomes evident with this statement is despite using a stop loss this particular result was excellent.

Gross profit $12,399.00
Total trades 45
Loss trades 9
Expected payoff $275.54
Profit factor 3.77
Max drawdown 7.57%
ROI 123%
9/3 thru 9/21

Steinitz,

Its not very difficult to post your live details and you should not care about who got MIG and who don't ! Those who would like to follow the progress will download the platform and follow the performance.

It can be done very easily, you should provide your Account Login and Read-Only password. Everyone will be able to log into your account and SEE your trades and performance. They wont be able to alter ur trades in any way. Thats why its called read only password.

Regards

How do I distinguish between a password and a read only password? It looks like I need my password. I never retained my original password. Please advise

P.S. I don't mind at all having people look at my statement live

Your broker send you these details when you signed up and created your account with them. You should still find them in the Mailbox in your MT4.

Well done, you deserve some credit for taking a step in the right direction, lets hope that you can keep the demo running for a while, I believe that whatever the results, ultimately this action will be in your best interests.

You can also generate and publish a statement every X minutes that is automatically FTP'd to a server of your choice (look under options / publisher), so that might be quite a useful addition to your website.

It might also be worth having a word with Minnelli, as he publishes his results from your EA using this method.

regards
zu
