Well he didnt make that much really, hardly worth the hasle he had to put up with. The first few hundred units went out at $50, and you have to remember that a pretty hefty chucnk of the fees collected were paid to Robert

By the time they'd openly declared a commercial interest and where selling at the current price, there where several hundred active traders who'd lost money advising purchasers against buying the system, and dozens of statements from various testers that quite clearly showed the EA was a non starter

Sure, the worlds full of stupid people who'll buy anything (FAP Turbo being a great example) but the number of truly stupid people purchasing in light of the available evidence must have been pretty small.

I suspect he'd have made more working in Maccy D's. Reading between the lines its obvious that his experience was practically non existant, he fooled himself into thinking he could build a profitable EA, he thought he could cover costs by sharing the method, then being the type of guy he is, he couldnt resist running the scam.

Had he developed the product in private, and subsequently marketed a finished item, I suspect that he could have sold 100 times as many units, and probably even made 5 times again on providing support, his mistake was to involve traders in the creation of a product that doesnt work, publically exposing the faults in the product.

The problem now is that his credability is damaged, launching another product under his own name is going to be a problem, but there's plenty of EA's being sold behind false identities so he'll still make a living.

A number of people posted screenshots showing exactly what youve shown, Don Steintz and his army of shrills ridiculed those posts, and the admin over at TSD deleted many of them !

As you've discovered, swapping the timeframes forces a repaint of the indicator, its hardly surprising is it ?

Thanks for confirming this, I thought I was doing something wrong or something was wrong with the settings. I also received confirmation on this as well from someone else that was very involved with this system.

The only reason I was interested in the system was only for the MTF indicator, that served as a good confirmation tool for my system that I use.... I like the indicator itself....

What I would like to know, is there a better tool on this MTF indicator? is so please let me know.

I noticed the indicator has a resemblence to the EMA 13, so what I would like to ask does anyone have a MTF EMA that looks like the HAS MTF, if anyone know of any, please let me know ....

Question Issue on historical vs. live charts

It seem tha HAS MTF indicators are not that accurate, they seem buggy and not showing accurately .... see the snap shot I took, its the same currency but the indicator is showing different ....

How did I stuble accross this, well its simple, once you have open MT4 look at the indicators let the indicators run for a few hours or a day or so, look at the indicators to see how the look like, then click on a different time frame and then back to the original time and the indicators do not look the same anymore .... its seems it might have a refreshing problem of the indis ....

please advise anyone on this ... thanks ...

The indicator paints differently on a historical chart vs. a live chart. When you pull up a new chart and place the indicator on it and look back, the indicator changes color on the candle opens.

When you leave the chart open for a few hours to a day (live chart), the indicator changes color after the close of the bar, as it should. It starts painting the color change on next candle.

I think this should be a simple fix in the indicator. Only paint a change of color in the indicator on the close of the candle and start painting the color change on the next bar. It does this correctly live, but does it differently with the historical data. I'm not a programmer, but it seems to me that it should be an easy fix. Would someone be willing to do the fix?

Post Steinitz HAS MTF **Theory & EA**

Well my first live trade was a 20 pip winner on EUR this morning. Didn't get a signal to get out but closed at that point anyway because the market is so SLOW today and acting weird so I didn't want to push it. I'm still in cautious mode until I feel more comfortable with it - but so far so good.

I have now added 3 more currency pairs to spread the risk, put in a 100 pip Stop Loss and reduced my lot size. First indications are that the stoploss, is being triggered too often and I am gradually losing equity.

I have in truth lost confidence in the bot, but my instinct is to give it one more chance. But deep down I think it is a lost cause. Trading without a stop means you have to trade with such a large account and such small lot sizes as to make the exercise almost ridiculous. Especially so, since I have my own EA which is 100% automatic, trades 24/7, is extremely safe and reliable with a very simple strategy, and actually makes many more pips than the Steinitz thing. No one on here seems to have any idea of how to use Steinitz as a fully automatic system. So unless I start getting some positive and RELIABLE results I think I will pull out. I am certainly not willing to spend hours or days or weeks tuning an EA designed by someone else, when I cannot even get my head round its complex strategy, and innumerable mysterious settings!!

Thoughts anyone?

I am new to this area. I like to buy your own EA for use with my live account.
