What is the best TF to trade 1-6 or 3-8 or 4-7. i think if you enter at the peak of the MN TF (1-6) the DD will be very large before trend corretion but with daily (3-8) or 4h (4-7) the DD will be less. What is your opinion?

That's true but it's a balance between low DD and fakeouts. The D1 will switch trends a lot more than the W1 or MN.

The settings I'm demoing on the EA are W1 to M30 but trades taken only if W1 and MN agree and trade will be exited if W1 changes colour. I wouldn't like to rely on exiting on a monthly colour change as the DD would be too much to stomach.

I'll see after two months if this works well before live trading. If not, I'll take the settings of others who have done well.

Do you use this EA method now also for manual trading or you advice to use your original method (starting from the lowest TF)

Also, could I use this EA during news time or it is better to close all the open positions before news.

You would be surprised how stable the DD is when you tare longer TF's. Because the trend is more established you actually have that working for you.

Yes you can have a bigger DD if you are unfortunate to catch a sell off pr visa versa but it comes back.

I have a cool feature that lets you pick a shorter TF like 4/7 and with a "upper TF' switchh you are essentially telling the system to only trade your 4/7 when the upper Tf's you choose are ALSO agreeing with color.

This is a super way to have the extra protection of a higer TFswitch trehighernd in your favor!

I suggest using this method and not using the "original" method. The original method gets you in too late!

Great question! I have left in going through NFP and no issues. Other members report the same thing. Here is my advice. If you are trading "naked". I don;t mean in your underwear like a 4Hr TF and all other higher TF's are opposite color I would close out. No protection above 4Hr = possible 4Hr changing color and you wouldn't like that.

Also, What is the suitable TF you advice me to use as a main trend?

What about the MM, EA contains a money mangement or should i make it manually and what is the best MM plan you advice?

I have $500 by now in FXDD, can I use the EA or better not and how many pairs could i put it on?

you mean 4-7 and change use upper time frame to "true" and set it to "1" "2" or "3"? if yes which upper TF you recommend from your opinion?

Hi Don, a question about entry. Say that the monthly, wkly, daily, 4hr, and 1hr TF's are all blue, the 30m is showing red (ie 'alert TF) but the Entry TF, 15m is showing blue, what action should be taken?
