Economic reports (aka News) are listed in so called Economic Callendar. Those callendars can be found on the internet. One popular callendar is on Forex Forum, Forex Calendar, Forex News @ Forex Factory. News with the biggest impact have red mark, medium impact are orange and low or no impact are yellow. For GJ watch red reports related to GBP and JPY.
You can also configure the callendar to be in sync with your time-zone by clicking on the time in callendars' header.

Bernanke's testimony in Capitol Hill before Senate Banking Committee will overshadow other events today. Markets are looking for an updated view on the health of the economy as well as the financial markets as well as on clues to Fed's next move. Markets are pricing around over 30% chance that Fed will cut rates by 75bps in Mar and over 60% chance for a 50bps cut. Such expectation could change if Bernanke either sounds more or less concern on the risk of recession.

In my opinion it depends on many many factors. But I don't care so much as long as I can make some profits on the FOREX

Im not sure, Alizian, because I do not trade the news. Either Im already in position or Im not opening a new one when the report is released. But I noticed, that the platform do not update so quickly on news report, which is unerstandable. Either you get perfect data update and wider spread or you get a small freeze but the spread will remain tight. That's perfectly normal with most brokers.

Well another trading week is over and it was another profitable week for me (5.78% equity gain). It's always a pleasure to look back and see, that if you invest reasonable amount of time and energy into something, it will evolve into something that can be called a skill.
