This is straight out the rule book no wonder you guys are struggling you havent read it! Rule 7.3 is very clear, do not trade when in a range, trade only once breaks out. What is so hard about this?



Daily Price

= Ranging there is no trend, full stop! Sorry guys but look I am only harping on about it as it seems you are struggling to read the chart

kinda funny you scolding everyone for not understanding how to ready a chart while at the same time using a daily chart to determine a trend or not. Seems a bit overkill to me. You could easily go weeks without a trade using a daily chart. Plenty of trading opportunities within those daily candles imo.

Sorry Pip not so much meant to be a scolding appologies guess I just got frustrated as felt wasnt being heard. I am actually doing well trading opposite the PROea at the moment. However once breaks out of the daily trading range I expect that would change. Yes there is plenty of opportunity maybe a lower target and reducing stops might work. This morning made over 100pips just by buying the daily low

If there is one thing I would agree with Detail on and that is most here have been too reliant on Alex, the rules are there we just need to get our head around them. I think there is a lot more that Alex hasnt explained all that well in the rules as well such as the trailing stop loss system although he has discussed it vaguely

trading conditions from last days was not easy. New day, new chance

Based on my experience and technical chart picture it is time to leave the range. Theoretically . Practically price still sit tight.

Here my entry from today: (entered 30 min ago)

GBPUSD LONG

Entry: 1.44274
Take Profit: 1.45274
Stop Loss: 1.44014

Actual Price: 1.44343

Technical note: Top from the range is 1.45280. So even when we dont break through today we have good good chance that our TP is reached.

If you placed the TP different make sure it is not higher then 1.45280.

How did you manage that? I went in VERY late due to various reasons but I still manage 50 pip on the cable.

long @ 1.4472 exit @ 1.4527

I also got 52 pip on EURJPY

long @110.84 exit @ 111.36

A bit risky but strong momentum

Hey Wanelad, we all understand your frustration. But before you got this much frustrated that your words are not being heard, you have to start off with listening to what others said. Ranging issue is not first time being brought up in this thread. I'm a freshman, but I'm not that fresh by not knowing what ranging is (full stop? lame). When you brought up this topic again, we thought you have something more constructional to share with. well, its the same thing we have discussed earlier then. I'm not going to discuss more on this, if you want to know what all have discussed about ranging and how to deal with it, read the thread again.

Last but not least, we are welcoming good spirit in sharing thoughts. And, mind your attitude as its irritating. Once again, if you want ppl to listen to you, learn listening to others. This is my last post on this issue. Hope we can continue the thread in peace and more innovative concepts.
