scalping EAs

Its a trading system that speculate on small market moves (I.e. 5 to 10 pips) to make money.

Scalping EAs have several drawbacks so as a high daily trade volume, hence a large amount of money lost paying spreads.

Sometimes is based on small timeframe bollinger bands, market nervosity (volatility) , etc...

You would better have a very good Scalping EA or your equity will go flushed in the toilets in a matter of days.

I would not recommend scalping for a beginner.

An example would be two short term moving average cross overs used in conjunction with Bollinger bands. Conditions have to be pretty well perfect for them to pay off.

Spreads have to also be pretty small not sure about other brokers but sometimes my broker on the Eur/USD is .5 of a pip and other times (same time of day) 2 pips. As scalping sometimes only looking for 2-8 pips makes it too difficult, swing trades are much easier

I have used the above on Mondays during the Asian markets a few times successfully on a demo account, however other times it gets slaughtered
