Just my observation, Bank of Japan (BOJ) usually launches super powerful intervention starting October 1st until the end of year. Looks like there're two phrases of intervention, first from Oct 1st until 1st Dec and second in December. Usually the two drive USDJPY to the same direction, but in year 2005, they went the opposite.









Massive intervention was launched to bring down USDJPY in that fascal year.

The cycle came again! Oct 01 to Dec 01 has a trend and then all at a sudden it turned after Dec 04.

What can we do with this pattern?

HAve anyone carry out any research on the USDJPY pair lately. i need a personality study of this currency pair. What are the news that move the USDJPY pair from Japan. I av been studin USD news release I discovered this news move Pounds and Eur market the most. so pls help out on the personality study of the currency pair.
