Using this indicator alone, you can trade on breakouts. You would then sell short when the price closes below the support (blue) and buy when the price closes above the resistance (red). I used this simple set up successfully awhile back. I think it is still successful, provided that you optimize the settings regularly.

With other indicators, Super S/R could be used to get in and out of the market at a better price, a price closest to the support and resistance levels. The possibility is endless. Be creative.
