So in the last 2 weeks I purchased the following

1. FAPTURBO
2. Forex Tracer

and

3. This little Indicator called FXUltraTrend

Well I must admit that the latter is by far the best indicator I have seen, yes i have to spend time at the computer but HEY HO.

So I will post my trades as I go and I hope its a success story..........

I have very little experience with these retail platforms - willing to test out a few to see how they tick. Any ideas? As an aside, I worked for a US bank on their trading floor - so I'm not super duper familiar with retail trading platforms. I worked with one, spread based - simple to use, not great charting - not horrible either. Want to move to ECN and figure out the fuss over MT4. Thanking you in advance for your input.

hello everyone ,

I bought the FX ultra trend and in the ad in makes it out to be a indicator that was made over the many months and after extensive research the maker came out with this system, blah, blah,blah... .

If you test the ready made EA's that come with MT4 and then add the FX ultra trend as an indicator, then stop or pause the visual test, another indicator pops up. The MACD. This FX Ultra indicator is nothing more then the standard MACD with the fx ultra turning blue when it rises above the 0 line and turning red when it go's below. I doubt there was much reseach and hard work in creating this gem. live and learn I guess. So if you think you getting something thats brilliant, the only thing that is was the marketing and it got me. curses!!

Guys lets not kid ourselves theres no holy grail indicator out there just find a strategy where You can afford to loose less and win more, incorporate proper risk reward in Your strategies and follow proper rules for money management. Indicators should be used only to get the odds in your favour.
So while trying to look out for indicators to aid your trades donot leave out a proper strategy

Donot get me wrong, I appreciate you suggesting an indicator for readers of the forrum, infact whenever we get one we all like to investigate a bit about it, not saying that my investigation about this indicator is complete, I may be wrong, however thought its important to post the view of the user .
I am sure that this indicator may work better if used in conjunction with a good strategy, thats all.
