Most webmasters say it's more than stupid if a webmaster doesn't put any ad on his/her website. Now i think this statement is true. It's easy money! So don't want to waste site traffic, I put mostly text ads from Google Adsense to collect a little extra money, a little portion to site hosting while most to Unicef. Is it possible to make the links open in a new window?

It's possible, but it is against the agreement with Google which states that the link must not open in new window. There're problems associated with opening new window. Many people don't like being forced to open links in new window, and technically some browsers and plugins, Google Toolbar for instance, oftenly blocks auto new windows.

For firfox, maxthon and opera users who use 3-button mouses, click the middle button will open any link in new window/tab.

Yeah, AdSense is popular now, just like all of the products from google. But don`t you get the impression that there is too much Google in the internet nowadays ? I have an email with google, and I use their search about 10 times a day. Most site owners put Goog Adsense on their websites, now there are more services, like website analytics wich run all the analssis of your website for you, and a service to put out your data , or something like that, so it could be reacheble from any point of the world.
Here is an idea, isn`t by doing this Google just collects info on every one of us, on their sites, their perfereces, hobbys and other stuff like this, wich gives them the power to offer the kind of advertisment for evey client that he will fall in to. For example there are Forex Ads on FXF, I see forex Ads in my gmail, since it is all about advertisment it is ok with me, I am better with Forex ads then with some Viagra crap that goes all around the NET, but just think about, what If goog has a data center with all the colected info on you, your mail, your data, your site statistics, what kind of power it gives them ? Conspiracy theory ;-)

They don't need all that info, it just reads the page you are looking at. Gmail just checks the keywords that occurr the most often in your inbox or just works with the content of your email. Try it out, send yourself an email with a specific keyword like "Hey look, cool Dell computer on ebay right now". You'll most likely see something related to computers, ebay and dell.

Oh I also have to add, in the spam section you'll see spam recipes, quite funny actually but I think they sometimes change to just facts of the day or something

Ok , Gmail collects keywrds in your mailbox . Let`s add their new service GooGle Bace ( Google Base is a place where you can add all types of information that we'll host and make searchable online http://base.google.com ) Wow , any type of information, from diaries to bus sceduals I can add there and access it from all over the world. Nice. And they will have one more place to collect just keywords. Let`s go furthre. An another service http://www.google.com/analytics/ Google Analytics , wich does all the info fore the webmaster , It logs clients, checks their cookies, does all the neccesary info, and yet another place to colect keywords.

Google for sure collects any available info about you including but not limited to every keywords you G-search, every location you put into G-Earth, and every G-AdSensed webpage you visits. Using all collected info in Data Mining Process, Google can build your profile including but not limited to your everyday activities, hobbies, interest, opinion, religion, occupation, home address, age, and sex. I think large portion of data collected by Google is of course available just to anyone. Want to know Gazuz and Ravique more? Just search "gazuz" or "ravique" in google and then here comes the data. Frankly, I did a search and know that Gazuz has participated in "you click my ad, I'll click yours. bump... bump..."

Yeah, and being sure that information is the weapon of the 21 century, just think how many possibilities google guys have !

Den Brown a popular writer in America has wrrote a book recently, in russian it was called Digital Fortress about a mechanism that collects all the emails oer the earth something like that, I read a couple of his books, not this one tho, they are all the same, but I have seen some major discusssions on the net about is this real or not.

In one of the discussians some technical administrator of some kind of computerised procceses participated , and he tolko that every provider in russia must include a special protocol ( or how is that called ) to its software, and they are not allowed to know what it does. It told by law this way. And most he told that this protocol is checking all the mail that is sent by this providers clients and searches such keywards as bomb, terrorism , drugs and stuff like this, so it is like a way for the governement to fight crime, but still it doesent feel very comfortable. I am sure that there is a similar thing in US, I even read about in some book.

Talk about Big Brother :-) .

Google Adsense is still in a stupid age. Last few days, the ads in downloads section choose the main keyword "password". Ads about recovering and securing win xp password are everywhere.

It's not only in US, but right inside Windows operating system worldwide. Have you heard that all erased outlook emails and IE history are right there in hidden folders?
