hi there yes it is all possible you find many indicators out there. one springs to mine and have attatched theses below this will tell you different types of candle stick patterns .. you could write abit of code to add in an alarm and when to execute order ect and make it an Expert Advisor

Hi everyone
I am new to this site and forex in general, I have recently opened a demo account using MT4 and am quite interested in learning the MQL coding.Is it possible to use meta editor (on a demo account,) to code parameters that will scan in realtime for candlestick patterns i.e doji etc. Will i also be able to code an alert for when these pattern bars are completed.
I do not get a lot of time to visit this site at the moment due to work commitments, so thank you for any replys.
