Hello folks.

I am trying to test this EA at the moment using an Alpari demo account. I don't think I have it tuned quite right. The indicator itself seems to show the right thing in terms of the points at which it changes colour. I am trading the 15 minute charts...

The problem I have is with the stop losses, I think. The pairs I am looking at are GBP/USD, Eur/USD and USD/JPY. I was trying a Level 30 pip stop and trailing it, but was being stopped out very quickly. So I have changed this to ATR mode now (I think) and I am trying to trade 0.1 lots - because I think this is how I will start out when I am trading real money.

Anyone out there like to share experiences of this? I got here from starting out with a demo of Sniper FX, which I think is a similar indicator - I am running HMA and Sniper side by side on EUR/USD and there is a similarity.

Thanks in advance

I wonder if there is anyone who would be very kind and mod this EA a little bit.

I think that part of the problem is that this EA will insist on placing trades against the trend, which to me, defies all logic... What I would like to try is to have Short, Intermediate and Long SMAs and only go long when the price is above all three and only go short if the price is below all three. Any other signals would be ignored. Closing a trade either by having a trailing stop or when the trend changes. I think this will eliminate a lot of losers.

I have had a go at modifying the EA myself, but I don't yet understand enough about how drive MQL properly...

Many thanks inadvance
