Personaly I have toyed with the idea. But I don't have any good scalping strategies. I wondered if it is better to get small consistant gains, then big gains and big loses.

I forgot to mention, the first system that we are going to test is based on scalping. This system will run solely until the core system finished (now it's paused).

I've been live testing the scalping system of fxfisherman (FishScalper) since last week. Out of curiousity, I coded it in MT3 just to get the rough overview to compare with the backtested result last few months.

I've attached the results below. The first one is the result from MT, and the second one is the result from backtesting. The results look identical as I expected.

In the first image, you can see a highlighted -68pips trade, in which I mistakenly shutdown my laptop without close it before weekend.

Note that the Profit/Loss in backtested result is excluded the 3pips spread. So substract it by 0.0003 to get the real PL.

Wow, those sure are great results . 80+ pips in a week is very nice i think. Good work Scorpion, my congratulations.

Did i miss something? I was hoping to see the "scalping technique", but the thread ended abruptly. Please do help this poor guy who is at the point of giving up what he so loves and considers the best job he could ever do with joy (yea, i'm talking about forex!).

I have given all the attention, time and little money i have to this venture, but it keeps re-paying me with bad coins of losses. Can anyone out there help me with any simple strategy that would guaranty a large % of success?

Oh, by the way, i'm a newbie and this is my first post, but i have read volumes of the strategies and methods posted here and tried countless. They mostly start simple and end up complicated, or just simply die out for inconsistency

I only scalp in "flat" markets using a combination of volume and engulfing bar patterns on the 15 min. 5 pip limit and a 10 pip stop. With progressive lot sizing. Some times its enough to make you pull out your hair. Scalping never feels right to me.

Im posting the pdf on the early version of my scalping system for anyone that would like to tinker with it. as for now I have tightened the stops and I have different volume settings for different pairs, but this should give you a rough idea.

As per how well it does I only trade it on really flat days so I couldint say what the overall preformance is like. Honestly for me its something to do when im bored.

So what do you do to ensure a consistent, not more than 10pips per trade with little chances of loss? I am not honestly not asking for anything more
