Hey man!

I am testing a crazy strategie on GPB/USD that I found while trying stuff, but I have the same problem with that fractal calulated tickdata and different results with different timeframe-data (less tickdata)...

Could you please send me some real tickdata GPB/USD preferred, (but can test with EUR/USD tickdata too)?

Thanks,

LazyGuy from Austria

For instance, you may backtest by using backtesting suite such as WealthLab at www.wealth-lab.com, or you may ask someone to assist you; Fabrefactum.com will backtest your system at a cost. I'm thinking about helping you out to backtest the systems, but i'm afraid that i'm now a bit busy in finishing fxfisherman (just a little bit to go, we'll make it).

I have a few years worth of EURUSD ticks on fxfisherman.com. PM me if you wanna download it.

lazyguy,

I'm sorry that I can't send you the ticks because of signed agreement with data suppliers. You can purchase from Tenfore.com or OlsenData.com

Default Wealth-Lab not really suitable for Forex

Wealth-Lab misses the functionality you need to backtest spot Forex. For example, there is no straightforward way to work with Bid and Ask, or use tick data. Also, it is not possible to calculate profits correctly for pairs that do not have USD as the quote currency. Many users have asked for Forex functionality, but after the takeover by Fidelity there is not much change this will ever happen. Which is a pity
